The Adventures of the Four Musketeers - Part 1

Fun couldn't even begin to describe what I had the previous weekend I've met up Alex, Zhi Chen and Choon Hong, my all time secondary school buddies for yet another hang session!

And before I ramble on, I must thank Alex for the superb digi cam that he've brought along. It was, erm, well, pinkish. A tat bit gay, but still very useful. =)

Thank god or whatever other divine being for reviving my atm card! Or else the trip would be about four pathetic guys, sharing a bun and a cup of ice water from Macdonald. And that's an understatement! We were very much poorer! LMAO!

The trip started off with just me, Alex and Zhi Chen. Poor Choon Hong got caught up in the NDP thingie and can only meet us in the evening.

Digressing abit. NS shit is always a pain in the ass ain't it? Always getting into the way of fun, slacking and lazing around. 2 years of unnecessary pain and suffering. And all we do when we get invaded is add to the numbers under the "casualties" column.

Before I go on with criticising the NS system and get my house confiscated, my family members tortured and eventually shot, and myself whipped to death and hung on an ERP toll gate, let's forget I ever said that and return to my story.

Anyway we took a amazing short MRT ride to orchard. Time flies by when you're A) Having fun. B) Brain dead. Which was it I couldn't tell. I don't think I own a brain anymore. Poly syndrome. LMAO!

We walked around Taka rather aimlessly at first. Wandering into the what used to be Sports Connection, we did the unthinkable.

Yes I couldn't resist having a great digi cam and not using it!

The guys were pretty shy and refused to join me in my lame-ass endeavor.

What was there to do? Movie tickets are $9.50 a piece so movies were a definite nono. Shopping would require much more dough so that's out too. What's left? FOOD!

Let's take a look at the meal before being gorge down my throat.

For the last time, he's eating, not taking drugs! Lol!

*Burp*

After our fulfiling meal, with nothing but digesting food in our bellies and a sense of satisfication in our hearts, we went over to HMV to shop for my dvds.

Along the not-so-long but nonetheless tiresome way there, we found several interesting events going on.

WTF!? There was a food fair here?

We could've eaten ourselves silly if not for the meal at Yoshinoya. *Regrets*

In retrospect, if we did ate ourselves silly back then, we won't have money to even go home, least hang out some more.

Praised the Lord! I'm thinking! *Gasp* It's a miracle! LMAO! (For the record I'm not a Christian mind you!)

A performance by some talented kid along orchard.

An ingenious idea. We could put some tins to collect the money the audience was giving him. But then again it's Singaporeans we're talking about here. That miserable sum won't even cover the cost of the tins. Lol!

Five thorough searches through the dvd racks and three dvds bought later, Choon Hong finally made it! As quickly as we decided, we made our way through the Saturday crowd and board the MRT, heading for Marina Square. Again.

Call us pigs but it had been like forever since our last meal. And the smell of Papa Roti was irresistable.

An effort to make the guys pose which evidently failed.

Apparently they were so hungry they cannot wait to finish taking photo before gobbling it up!

Stay tuned for the The Advantures of the Four Musketeers - Part 2!
