I've been going through profiles of my friends in Friendster. Looking at them brought back many memories and infused me with thoughts. So I've written a poem to relate it all to you guys. Enjoy/Suffer!As days of life have passed me by,
friends around me begin to change.
Still they remained friends of mine,
yet those I knew were not the same.
Lovers who've entwined in body and soul,
believed they will never be apart.
But fate have decided to end their love,
now they're left with broken hearts.
Yet lonely hearts that once were lonely,
for none they've found to love and hold,
Now with hearts filled with blissful love,
for their muse was found and they're made whole.
Buds of youth that've yet to blossom,
like the sun that has yet to rise.
Now bloomed into beautiful flowers,
the spring of their life has arrived.
Yet stars of past that've shone with beauty,
met the coming of present's light.
As the stars were outshined by day,
Their beauty has faded out of sight.
As days of life have passed me by,
friends of old are still the same.
For our friendships have withstanded the test of time,
my love for them will never change.
Yes, I didn't take literature.
And yes again, I'm very bored.
